I/O Allocation
The number of port for one CC-Link remote device board differs depending on the number of occupied station, and the extension cycles (only for Ver.2.00). Port numbers are also different depending on the allocation mode.
- For information about available allocation mode, refer to "Combination of I/O Extension Boards and Allocation Mode "in RC8 CONTROLLER MANUAL.
- For about the way of allocation, refer to "Project Property Setting ".

Remote I/O RX and RY
Both the Remote I/O-RX and -RY handle the CC-Link system I/O and user I/O by bit-unit. Note that the system area is not available.
Remote Register RWw and RWr
Remote resistors RWw and RWr are capable of processing the ON/OFF state of 16 consecutive I/O points as 16 bits of word data. Four words are allocated per station; therefore a total of 16 words (256 points) are allocated to four stations. In Ver.2.00, up to 128 words can be assigned with extended cyclic setting.
I/O Allocation Table
The port number differs depending on the CC-link version, allocation mode, and extended cyclic setting. See the table below.
