For Safety-I/O-Less Specification

The differences in the controller of safety-I/O-less version compared to the standard controller are described here.

The following points are different:

  • Pin alignment of Mini I/O
  • Emergency stop circuit architecture

Some of the controllers of safety-I/O-less version are not able to be used or sold as they are, depending on national or regional laws or regulations regarding safe. In such case, safety system should be additionally installed in the system side or use the standard controller with safety I/O in order to meet such laws or regulations.
