Installation Precautions
Observe the following precautions when wiring the primary power source of the robot controller:
About Primary Power Source
- Use the correct power source for the controller specification.
- It is AC200V. If the power transformer box is selected as an option, it is AC400V. There is no single-phase. All the power source is three-phase.
- Connect the robot power cable to a power source separate from the welder power source.
Protective Grounding
Before connecting the power cable, make sure to ground the green/yellow wire of 5.5mm2 or more to the earth terminal of the right side of the housing. If you disconnect the grounding wire connected to the earth terminal (protective grounding) of the right side of the housing, make sure to disconnect the power cable beforehand.
Other Precautions
Do not bundle the smart TP cable or I/O cables together with high power lines such as power cables and peripheral device cables, or route the motor cables near other high power devices (such as motor, welder, parts feeder) in equipment.
