Product Warranty
Warranty Information
In the event that a defect resulting from design, manufacture, or material is discovered in a robot, a controller, and their components (hereafter: product), and the defect is confirmed by us or a service dealer designated by us, we will repair the product free of charge (hereafter: warranty repair).
Warranty repair is performed by the replacement of related part and/or the repair.
In warranty repair, we will cover the costs associated with the following.
- Cost of parts
- Consumable items necessary for repair
- Labor
Warranty Period
Warranty period shall be a period of 24 months from the shipment of the product.
However, even within the said period, the warranty shall be valid for a period of 18 months from the start of use, or up to 6,000 hours of operation (running) time, whichever comes earlier.
Replacement Product Warranty Period
Replacement of defective product originally installed in the equipment system pursuant to the warranty shall not extend the warranty period and the replacement product shall be warranted only for the balance of the warranty period remaining on the original product.
Even if the remaining warranty period for the product is ninety (90) days or less, its parts replaced by us or a service dealer designated by us shall be warranted for ninety (90) days from the day when the replacement is completed.
Items Not Covered
- Failures, which arise from one of the following, shall not be covered by the warranty even if the product is within warranty period:
- Failures caused by handling, improper programming, maintenance, inspection or installation other than those specified in the related manuals;
- Failures caused by non-certified disassembling/repair;
- Failures caused by disassembling/repair by non-authorized personnel;
- Failures caused by improper modification by you or a third party, or failures caused by the use of any part, oil/grease or software other than those specified by DENSO WAVE;
- A robot, a controller, a teach pendant, and a mini pendant for which a product serial number or production date cannot be confirmed;
- Failures caused by a fire, salt damage, earthquake, storm/flood, lightning or other acts of God;
- Failures due to use in an environment outside of the product specifications, such as improper IP rating, dirt/dust, fluid/coolant, improper power supply, high air pressure, and so on;
- Damages or malfunctions caused by relocation or transportation after installation;
- Items not covered in related manuals, such as; - Failures caused by a worn-out consumable (e.g. natural discoloration of paint/plating, deterioration of consumable parts like fan filter);
- Products exposed to dangerous and hazardous materials.
- Failures with no effects on product quality or function (e.g. mechanical noise of controller, motor sound, reducer sound); and
- We charge for following costs regardless of the warranty period:
- Shipping cost;
- Travel and accommodation (T & A);
- Maintenance, adjustment and cleaning;
- Worn-out consumables and oil/grease (grease, battery, filter, bellows and others); and
- Adjustment or recovery of internal data, such as programs and position variables, created and modified by the customer.
In no event shall we be liable for any other incidental or consequential damages, such as loss of profit, loss of production, psychological damage and damage to property other than our products resulting from product breakdown or failure.
Warranty Coverage
This warranty is valid within the country where you purchased the product.
When transferring your robot to outside of the country of purchase, by doing the user registration of overseas transfer support from the following URL, your robot will be warranted just as in the country of purchase.

If your robot has not been registered in the overseas transfer support, you can send the robot back to our dealer in the country of purchase for repair. The transfer fee of your robot shall be paid by customers.
