Carry out the maintenance and inspection jobs listed in the table below.
Maintenance and inspection must be carried out by a trained worker who possesses the ability to perform these tasks safely. Before performing maintenance and inspection jobs, read the SAFETY PRECAUTIONS,"Precautions while Robot is Running" and "Daily and Periodical Inspections".

| 2 | Quarterly | To maintain the precision of the robot and to prevent failures caused by overheat of the robot controller. |
| 3 | Semiyearly | To check the rotary sections and slideways of the robot and its controller for wear, preventing seizure, breakage, and other serious failures that could result from wear. |
| 4 | Biennial | To retain the position data stored in the electronic absolute encoder built in the robot unit. Replace backup batteries as specified in every two years. |
