Installation Requirements for the Controller

The table below lists the installation requirements for the RC8 controller.

Ambient temperature

In operation: 0 to 40°C

In storage or during transportation: -10 to 60°C
Humidity

In operation: 90% or less (No dew condensation is allowed.)

In storage or during transportation: 75% or less (No dew condensation is allowed.)
Altitude In operation : 1,000m or lower.
Safe installation environment

The robot should not be installed in an environment where:

  • there are flammable gases or liquids,
  • there are any acidic, alkaline or other corrosive material,
  • there is a mist, or
  • there are any large-sized inverters, high output/high frequency transmitters, large contactors, welders, or other sources of electrical noise.
Working space Sufficient service space must be available for inspection and disassembly.
Grounding conditions Grounding resistance (protective ground): 100Ω or less
