Ambient Temperature Settings on the Robot Operation
General Information
In the default setting, the overload threshold value of the robot is set under the condition that the ambient temperature of the robot operation is 40 degree. By setting the actual ambient temperature of the robot operation, overload value can be judged according to the entered ambient temperature.
For example, if the robot is used under 40degree of peripheral temperature, setting the actual peripheral temperature may reduce the number of the overload error occurrence. This is because the function calculates proper overload threshold value automatically from the actual peripheral temperature; as a result, allowable overload will be higher.
Target models are VS-050, VS-060, VS-068 and VS087 series.
Setting Method
This changes [78. Ambient temperature] on the Configuration List.
For details of operation, refer to the "Displaying and Setting the Configuration" of TEACH PENDANT OPERATION GUIDE.
Precautions for Use
- Since this is not the setting for electric parts inside the controller, power module overload, motor lock overload and other overload may occur even if this function is enabled.
- The warranty does not cover defects resulting from usage under the modified ambient temperature.
- The functions do not become effective unless the values of the target robot models are changed.
