Quick Reference Table for Input/Output Sizes

The table below lists the input/output sizes in EtherCAT and the maximum number of user input/output points.

The table below was determined with the following formula.

When both the input size and output size exceed 32, calculate the maximum general points with the formula below.

Standard allocation: Input size × 8 - 40

RC3 compatible allocation: Input size × 8 - 24

Standard allocation: Output size × 8 - 32

RC3 compatible allocation: Output size × 8 - 32
