Overview

Vision Edition-C is Canon image processing software installed in COBOTTA that has functions to create robot programs and control a robot.

You can easily start Pick & Place operation by using COBOTTA end-effector installed camera (N10-W02). This software allows you to connect any network cameras having pan/tilt/zoom and AF/AE function to COBOTTA. Just like end-effector installed camera, you can use network cameras for image processing.

As Vision Edition-C has functions to control COBOTTA, you can create a robot motion and process images in a single user interface. You can easily create a program by combining operation units, just like creating a flow chart. Also, since this software has been already installed in COBOTTA, you do not need to prepare additional image processing device. COBOTTA and image processing function linkage realizes ready-to-use robot system anywhere you want, due to its portability.

Using image processing functions of Vision Edition-C enables you to extend COBOTTA application to various operations, such as,

• position adjustment at Pick & Place operation, inspection after the place operation.
• bar code/QR code readout.
• number/analog meter readout.
