How to Connect the Smart TP

Connect your Smart TP to the pendant connector on the side of the robot controller as the following figure shows.

Attention

• Before connecting the cable, be sure to shut-off the robot controller.
  Connecting the cable without turning the robot controller power off could damage the Smart TP and/or the robot controller.
• Do not apply external force in the transverse or longitudinal directions to connector area after connecting the cable. It may cause communication error due to the damaged connector.
• When you remove the Smart TP, hold the lock mechanism part of the connector part, and pull it out. You cannot pull out the Smart TP by holding the cable or the body of the Smart TP. Doing so could cause the breaking the wires. Never pull out in this way.
