Turning the Motor ON

Turn the motor on to run the robot.

Before turning the motor on, be sure to confirm no person(s) is in the restricted space of the robot.

If you turn OFF the motor immediately after turning the motor ON, "MotorBUS-FET failure" might occur. If an error occurs, reboot the controller.

Methods for Turning the Motor ON

The motor can be turned on using the methods shown below.

  • Smart TP and mini-pendant
  • PacScript command
  • I/O

However, different methods are used to turn the motor on depending on the operation mode.

Auto Mode

The motor can be turned on only from the selected device among TP (smart TP/mini-pendant), I/O and Ethernet 1 to 4. You can select it from the executable token setting.

Program Check

If program check is selected as a option, the motor can be turned on only from TP.

Manual Mode

In Manual mode, the motor can be turned on with the smart TP or mini-pendant.
