Robot Lifting by Crane or Overhead Crane

Lifting equipment: Crane or overhead crane with lifting power suitable for the load to be lifted.
Equipment:
  • Eyebolt M20 (quantity : 3)(*1)
  • Sling belt (double-sided eye type) length: 1500mm (quantity : 2)
  • Sling belt (double-sided eye type) length: 2000mm (quantity : 2)

* 1: This is shipped with a robot as a standard item.

Lifting diagram:

A: Eyebolt M20
B: Sling belt (double-sided eye type) length: 1500mm
C: Sling belt (double-sided eye type) length: 2000mm

If you lift a robot with a crane, put a waste cloth in a place where a wire contacts an arm and mount three eyebolts in eyebolt holes then pass a wire there as shown in the following figure.

Please note the following items before transport.

  • Move each axis to the angle of the proper transport posture.
  • If adjustable mechanical stoppers are mounted, remove them as needed.

Lifting Procedure

Screw the eyebolts (A) into the holes on the robot body.

Connect the sling belt (B) and (C) to the eyebolts (A).

Slightly lift the robot with checking balance.

4

Lift the robot horizontally keeping it in balanced position.

Move the robot carefully.
