1st-axis Mechanical End Change

At the time of delivery from the factory, mechanical ends are set in the VMB series robots so that the stroke of the 1st axis is ±170°.
Changing the mechanical ends of the 1st axis by adding mechanical stoppers is called a mechanical end change.
When you use adjustable mechanical stoppers (option), you can limit the stroke of the 1st axis in units of 15° in both directions.

Change the position of the adjustable mechanical stopper according to the desired motion range.

• Upper limit : +10° ～ +130°
• Lower limit : -130° ～ -10°

Mounting Procedure

Insert the dowel pin (diamond-shaped) and dowel pin (round-shaped) into the adjustable stopper plate 1 and fix in the position of the figure below.

Temporary tighten the adjustable stopper plate 2 to the adjustable stopper plate 1 that has been fixed in STEP1.

Temporary tighten it to the opposite side in the same way.

By using the adjustable stopper fixing plate 2, fix the adjustable stopper plate 2 that has been temporary tightened in STEP2. For the opposite side, fix it using the adjustable stopper fixing plate 1.

Firmly tighten the bolts that have been temporary tightened in STEP2.

Fix the stopper for adjustable stopper in the desired position.

There are screw holes in units of 15°. Adjust the mounting position of the stopper for adjustable stopper as needed.
