Warning and Caution Labels

The controller has warning and caution labels pasted as shown below. They alert the user to the dangers of and precautions for the areas on which they are pasted. Be sure to observe the instructions printed on those labels.

(1) Label

Turning on the controller may move the arm, causing injuries when someone is inside the safety fence.
Perform lockout/tagout before carrying out maintenance and inspection.

(2) Label

When transporting the robot controller, lift it with a crane as shown below.

(3) Label

To avoid electric shock, do not insert fingers or any foreign objects.

(4) Label

To avoid electric shock, never open the front panel when the power is on.
Do not touch inside for six minutes after turning off power and disconnecting the cable.

(5) Label

If the robot controller is turned on within one minute after being turned off, it will not operate properly. In turning on the controller right after turning it off, make sure to turn it on "more than one minute" after its POWER LED lamp completely turns off. Otherwise, a failure may occur.

If you mistakenly turn on the controller within one minute after turning it off, turn it off again, then turn it on "more than one minute" after its POWER LED lamp completely turns off.
