CPU Normal (output)

Function

This signal tells the external device that the CPU of the robot controller is normal.

Terminal Number

#45 on Mini I/O connector

Usage

  1. This signal is used to light the robot controller error indicator lamp on the external operating panel.
  2. If this signal is turned OFF, perform the error recovery with the PLC.

ON Conditions

This signal turns ON when the robot controller has properly started up.

OFF Conditions

This signal turns OFF when the system I/O signal becomes inoperative due to a hardware or a software error.

  • The OFF state of this signal indicates that the robot controller internal arithmetic circuit may be damaged. Therefore, ROBOT ERROR, ERROR NUMBER, and other outputs may not be correct.
  • This signal cannot be monitored using the teach pendant.
