Contactor Contact Monitor (output)
Function
This signal outputs the status of the auxiliary contact of the motor contactor in the robot controller. For signals Contactor Contact Monitor 1a and Contactor Contact Monitor 2a, the contact output signal comes ON when the motor is turned on; it comes OFF when the motor is turned off. For signals Contactor Contact Monitor 1b and Contactor Contact Monitor 2b, the contact output signal comes OFF when the motor is turned on; it comes ON when the motor is turned off.

Usage
This signal is used to confirm the ON/OFF state of the motor on the monitor.
For details about the emergency stop circuits, refer to the I/O MANUAL (for Mini I/O), following clause "External Emergency Stop and Enable Auto Input Circuits"and "Emergency Stop Circuit", according to the I/O type NPN or PNP.
- It takes 40 milliseconds from the turning-ON of the Contactor Contact Monitor 1 to the turning-ON of the Contactor Contact Monitor 2.
- Apply at least 10 milliamperes through the contacts.
