Checking the Cable Connection

Check that the following cables are connected to the controller.

Type of cables

• Power cable
• Motor & encoder cable
• Extended-joint motor cable(s) and their conversion cable(s)
• Extended-joint encoder cable(s)

Powering on the controller

Turn the controller power switch on.

An error message [8540467* *-axis:Encoder System Down] is displayed. Press [Cancel] of the teach pendant to clear the error.
