Saving and Changing Data

The COBOTTA is equipped with two types of memory: data storage memory which holds data when power is off, and working memory which does not hold any data.
When the COBOTTA is powered ON, all path data stored in the data storage memory is read into the working memory.

Data Handled with PacScript

Path data that can be handled through commands in PacScript are restricted to data within the working memory.
Path data stored in the data storage memory cannot be edited.
Some commands in PacScript can edit path data within the working memory.
Path data stored in the data storage memory cannot be written.

However, in an exceptional case, values of a part of variables (global variables, static variables, public variables) can be written in the data storage memory.

Path Data whose WINCAPSIII can Receive

Path data whose WINCAPSIII can receive is data stored in the data storage memory only.
Path data stored in the working memory is not received.

Editing Teach Pendant

Teach pendant displays path data stored in the working memory.
Some path data stored in the working memory can be edited in the teach pendant.
The edited path data is stored in the data storage memory simultaneously.
If the path data is not edited but only referred, the data is not saved in the data storage memory.
