Maintenance & InspectionIntervals and Purposes

Carry out the maintenance and inspection jobs listed in the table below.

Maintenance and inspection must be carried out by a trained person who possesses the ability to perform these tasks safely.

Before performing maintenance and inspection jobs, read the Safety Precautions, "Precautions while Robot is Running" and "Others(Daily and Periodical Inspections)."

Intervals Purposes
Daily To use your robot safely.
Perform inspection jobs every day before starting operations.
Quarterly To maintain the precision of the robot and prevent failures caused by overheat of the robot controller.
Perform inspection jobs every three months.
Annual To keep the robot gears in good condition. Perform inspection jobs every year by changing the oil/grease for the robot body.
Biennial

To check the replacement date of the battery for the internal clock of the robot controller every two years.

Triennial To keep the robot decelerators in good condition. Perform inspection jobs every three years by changing the oil for the robot body.
Five-year Inspection To execute overhaul for once every five years.
