Grounding the Robot Unit
Connect the grounding wire accompanied with the motor & encoder cable set to the robot controller for grounding.
Refer to the figure below for the position of the earth terminal and the connection with the robot controller.

Use a dedicated grounding wire and grounding electrode. Do not share them with any other electric power or power equipment such as a welder.
Grounding Resistance
The protective grounding resistance of the robot power supply should not be more than 10Ω.
- Check the power voltage before turning on the robot. If you apply wrong voltage, it may cause a fire or burn-out.
- Check the connection of the grounding before turning on the robot. If the grounding is not connected, it may cause electric shock.
