When Auxiliary Axis Motors Do Not Work Properly

If the auxiliary axis motor does not work properly, check the following points.

  

Conditions Check points / Measures
The motor does not move. The motor may be disconnected from the servo amplifier.
The motor can move but only a little.
  • Parameter settings may be incorrect.
  • The values of the parameter [Servo amplifier connection order] are not aligned with the actual order of connection.
An unintended motor moves.
An encoder error occurs. Check the Encoder Information screen to ensure that the auxiliary axis encoders are normal.
It may have any noise or cable malfunctions. Check for proper connection of the FG wires of the cables as well as the earth.
If a cable malfunction is found, replace the cable.
Any other error occurs. Follow the error recovery instructions.
