Variations
MC9 series have variations for the following items.

I/O type
You can select I/O types of Digital I/O and Hand I/O from the following types.
MC9 series is equipped with Digital I/O and Hand I/O as standard items.
- Negative common (NPN)

Electric current flows of the input/output signals are as below.
- Electric current flows out of the input signal.
- Electric current flows into the output signal.
- Positive common (PNP)

Electric current flows of the input/output signals are as below.
- Electric current flows into the input signal.
- Electric current flows out of the output signal.
IPC type
The following IPC types are available.
- IPC-equipped type

IPC is incorporated in the MC9 controller housing as a factory default component.
If you select this type, you cannot remove nor replace the IPC by customers.
- IPC-less type

If you order this type, IPC is not shipped with the MC9 controller housing.
You need to prepare an "RC9 firmware" installed IPC, and connect the IPC to your RC9 controller.

Note that you cannot install a customer-prepared IPC within the MC9 controller housing.
