Environmental Conditions for Controller Installation

The installation requirements for the MC9 series are shown in the table below.

Installation type	Stand-alone installation, upright installation, wall-mount installation, 19-inch rack mount installation (For the 19-inch rack mount installation, you need to prepare an optional rack mount bracket.) (To use controller protective box (MC9) (option), see this link.)
Ambient temperature	During operation: 0 to 40 ℃ During storage and transportation: -10 to 60 °C
Humidity	During operation : 20 to 90% RH (No dew condensation allowed.) During storage and transportation : 45 to 75% RH (No dew condensation allowed.)
Altitude	In operation: 1,000m or below
Safe installation environment	Refer to the SAFETY PRECAUTIONS, "Insuring the proper installation environment" When using the robot controller in an environment exposed to mist, put it in the Controller protective box (MC9) (option parts)
Working space	Sufficient service space must be available for inspection and disassembly.
Grounding conditions	Grounding resistance (protective ground) (100Ω or less)
