Monitoring Area Disable Input
Function
Monitoring area disable input switches enable/disable the monitoring of the temporary restricted area of RPM function. This input is controlled by an external device being connected. There are four Monitoring area disable inputs (0 to 3) and all of each inputs are dual line.
Each Monitoring area disable input controls one temporary restricted area. Up to four temporary restricted areas can be specified.
Terminal Number
Signal name | Terminal number |
---|---|
Monitoring area 0 disable input (Line 1) | No.9 and 43 of Motion I/O Input |
Monitoring area 0 disable input (Line 2) | No.25 and 59 of Motion I/O Input |
Monitoring area 1 disable input (Line 1) | No.10 and 44 of Motion I/O Input |
Monitoring area 1 disable input (Line 2) | No.26 and 60 of Motion I/O Input |
Monitoring area 2 disable input (Line 1) | No.11 and 45 of Motion I/O Input |
Monitoring area 2 disable input (Line 2) | No.27 and 61 of Motion I/O Input |
Monitoring area 3 disable input (Line 1) | No.12 and 46 of Motion I/O Input |
Monitoring area 3 disable input (Line 2) | No.28 and 62 of Motion I/O Input |
Input Condition and Operation
Turning OFF of this input monitors the specified temporary restricted area. Turning ON of this input does not monitor the temporary restricted area.
- If the time difference between two Monitoring area N disable inputs (N represents a number from 0 to 3) is 0.5 second or more, it is deemed as an abnormal state. An error is issued and the motor power will turn off.
- Use different contacts to control two Monitoring area N disable inputs. If one Monitoring area N disable input circuit is always short-circuited, or if two Monitoring area N disable input circuits are joined in one circuit, it is deemed as an external circuit error, resulting in the stop of operation.
