AC adapter / AC cable
Connect an AC adapter with a country-specific AC cable to use it. AC cable is an optional item. When placing an order for COBOTTA, select an AC cable according to the outlet type of country where COBOTTA is used.
Emergency Stop Box
The emergency stop box has screw holes for fixing it. Fix the emergency stop box after referring to the dimensional drawing shown below.
The emergency stop box can be used by hanging it on a hook. To use the box by hanging it on a hook, remove a cross recessed flat head screw on the back side of the emergency stop box. Open the hinge and fix it with a cross recessed pan head machine screw, as the following figure shows.
Keep the cross recessed flat head screw you have removed. You will use this screw when you store the hinge.
Use a cross recessed pan head machine screw having the following specifications. Tighten it up with the following tightening torque.

Emergency Stop Box Holder
The emergency stop box holder (hereafter, "box holder") is used to move the emergency stop box to a position where the operator can easily operate it when operating COBOTTA remotely, such as by using a tablet.
Two box holders are shipped as standard components. Place them to the positions where workers easily reach for use.
If you have lost a box holder or want to purchase additionally, please contact our sales representatives.
In use, tighten the box holder with screws, and then stick the box holder's magnet to the metal part on the backside of the emergency stop box. You can tighten the emergency stop box to the box holder with screws.
- To tighten an emergency stop box with screws
To tighten an emergency stop box to a box holder with screws, use the screws with the following specifications.
Specifications - Size : M3
- Screw length : 14 mm
- Magnets on a box holder have strong attraction. When you place an emergency stop box on a box holder, there is an possibility that fingers and skins get caught between the emergency stop box and the box holder, leading to injury. Please pay attention.
- Do not bring magnets close to medical electrical devices or magnetic-sensitive objects. Doing so may prevent normal operation or lead to malfunction.
Method by Fixing with Screws
The seating for emergency stop box has screw holes for fixing. Fix the emergency stop box after referring to the dimensional drawing shown below.
Emergency Stop Box Holder for Tablet
The emergency stop box holder for tablet (hereafter, "tablet holder ") is an option to install an emergency stop box in a tablet.
If you have lost a tablet holder or want to purchase additionally, please contact our sales representatives.
In use, tighten an emergency stop box to the tablet holder with magnets or screws, just like the box holder.

To tighten an emergency stop box to a tablet holder with screws, use the screws with the following specifications.

- Adhesive property of the double-sided adhesive tape becomes deteriorate. Before use, as a daily inspection, check that the tablet holder does not remove from the tablet.
How to Install a holder to a tablet
Before placing a tablet holder, wipe off any dust or oil from a tablet surface. If there are any dust or oil remains, the double-sided adhesive tape will remove easily.
Remove all the releasing papers from the double-sided adhesive tape on the tablet holder. Adjust the holder to the edge of the tablet and then paste it.
You cannot use the double-sided adhesive tapes repeatedly. Once attaching a tablet holder on a tablet, if you remove the tablet holder from the tablet, you cannot use it again. Please purchase a new tablet holder.
If you forcibly remove the double-sided adhesive tapes, the tablet may be damaged.
VGA Junction Cable
The VGA junction cable is used to connect a commercial VGA cable and COBOTTA. To connect an external display and COBOTTA, therefore, provide a commercial VGA cable in addition to the VGA junction cable.
O-ring for USB Connector
Use the O-ring for USB connector as a stopper device of USB connector and to improve electrostatic resistance.
Always insert the O-ring before plugging the USB connector into COBOTTA.
