COBOTTA Unpacking Procedure
This section describes the procedure used to unpack COBOTTA from the package box.
This procedure should be performed in a flat area with enough space where there is not risk of dropping the unit.

Place the box in the upright position.

Pull out the insertion part on the upper part of the box and lift up the upper lid.

Grip the handle and carefully place the box on its side.
Open the upper lid up to the position shown in the figure above. Parts and items may fall out of the box if the lid is opened too much.

Open the upper lid all the way.

Take out the small parts such as the dummy connector (I/O) on the buffer material (Styrofoam) and then gently pull up and out the buffer material.

Hold the base part and arm part of COBOTTA with both hands and pull COBOTTA out of the buffer material (Styrofoam).
Do not hold COBOTTA in any other way (for example, holding it only with one hand/holding only the base part/holding only arm part). This may move the axes unexpectedly and cause malfunctions. Also, COBOTTA may slip from the hands easily. Falling COBOTTA may hit your body and hurt yourself. This is very dangerous.
The center of gravity of COBOTTA Unit in the packing posture is indicated "here (PDF:877KB)". Please refer to it when carrying COBOTTA.

Take out all accessories including the power cables.
It is recommended to keep your COBOTTA package box used at the delivery, not wasting.
When you relocate or move the COBOTTA to a different site, by using this package box, you can transport the COBOTTA safely.
To store the COBOTTA into the package box, do the reverse of the above mentioned procedure.
