Field Bus Parameter Setting

With a Remote TP/Virtual TP, set the field network communication.

Operation path : Top window - [F4 I/O] - [F6 Aux] - [F4 Field Bus parameter]

47: EtherNet/IP IP Address [IP Address]

Set an IP address. If it has already been set, currently set IP address is displayed.

48: EtherNet/IP Subnet mask [IP Address]

Set a subnet mask. If it has already been set, currently set subnet mask is displayed.

49: EtherNet/IP Gateway IP address [IP Address]

Set a gateway IP address. If it has already been set, currently set gateway IP address is displayed.

50: EtherNet/IP Bit Rate

Set the EtherNet/IP communication speed.

Value Description
1(Default Setting) Auto Negotiation Set automatically according to the connected device
2 100M Full 100Mbps Full Duplex
3 100M Half 100Mbps Half Duplex
4 10M Full 10Mbps Full Duplex
5 10M Half 10Mbps Half Duplex

57: EtherNet/IP Insensitive time to network error [ms]

If the communication check of EtherNet/IP communication starts too early after the COBOTTA startup, an error [8350200B: Prepare for field network communication] might be displayed immediately after booting.
To prevent such error, adjust "EtherNet/IP Insensitive time to network error [ms]" of Fieldbus parameter longer.

Available range 0 to 65535
Default Setting 22000

58: EtherNet/IP DHCP Enable

If this parameter is enabled, an IP address used by EtherNet/IP is automatically obtained by DHCP.

Value
0 Disable (Default Setting)
1 Enable

138: EtherNet/IP ErrDisplay

This parameter allows you to choose whether the network error will display in "every time" or is display at the "first time" only.

This parameter is set to "0" (EveryTime) by default for safe operation of the facilities. Every time an I/O operation is carried out, an error will display if any.
To check program operations using dummy I/Os for setting up facilities where no connection to the network has been established, set this parameter to "1" (FirstTime). Doing so will not display errors once detected, allowing you to check program operations.

Value
0 EveryTime (Default Setting)
1 FirstTime

After completion of setting-up, be sure to set this parameter back to "0."

160: EtherNet/IP Input Run/Idle Header

Set this parameter when the top of the Input data from the EtherNet/IP Master shifts 32bits from the I/O port No. 512.

Value
0 modeless (Default Setting)
1 32-bit run/idle header

161: EtherNet/IP Output Run/Idle Header

Set this parameter when the Output data of EtherNet/IP Master shifts by 32bit on the master side.

Value
0 modeless (Default Setting)
1 32-bit run/idle header
