RECOMMENDED BOARD LIST
Some commercially available boards can be used for RC8 series robot controller. The table below shows a list of recommended boards.

Please carry operation check beforehand along with the combination and use condition. - Before installing a board and/or USB device, be sure that the controller is power-off.
After installing a board, turn on the controller.
When a message "Shutdown since driver installation of the new device was completed."
Appears on the teach pendant, press "OK" to shut down the controller.
A next message "It is now safe to turn off your computer" appears on the teach pendant. Turn on the controller again, and then use the newly installed board. - When a serial communication-supporting board (such as COM-1PD (LPCI)H or COM-2PD(PCI)H of CONTEC) is used in RC8 series, it can be used for full-duplex communication only.
To access a recommended board, use provider or command. For details about provider, please refer to "About Providers" of Provider Guide.
To use providers, identifier of the board is required.
The identifier can be confirmed by the device information display of the teach pendant after the board is inserted.
