How to Mount

This section describes the following items.

Tool Installation Hole

To install a tool in the robot end, use the tool installation holes and datum holes on the flange face.

The size of holes are written in the external dimensions drawing of the robot. Refer to "Specifications of Robot Unit".

Do not apply any external force (such as hammering) on the datum hole. Doing so will damage the hole.

Screw Hole Position for Wiring and Piping

When connecting a power line, signal line, and air piping to a tool installed in the robot end, arrange them along the robot body. Doing so will avoid lines and piping fluttering while robot running.

VMB series robot has several screw holes to fix wires and pipes into the robot body.

By preparing and using suitable size of fixing parts for the screw holes, you can fix the wirings and pipings to the robot body.

Screw holes are located on the left and right side of the robot body.
