Installing COBOTTA Unit
This section assumes that you have already completed the following items before installing COBOTTA.
- Punch the screw holes for fixing COBOTTA.
- Install the dowel pins for fixing COBOTTA.
- Prepare the screws for fixing COBOTTA.
If not, perform the above by referring to "Dimensions of Screw Holes for Fixing".
The workers must wear protective gear (hard hat, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves).

Make sure that no obstacles get in the way of COBOTTA installation.

Unpack COBOTTA if it is still packed.
- To avoid injury or damages to workers or property due to falling, packing or unpacking shall be done on a flat space.
- To move COBOTTA from the installation position to another position, use the COBOTTA delivery packaging box for safe transportation.

Grab the base part and the arm part of COBOTTA with both hands and carry COBOTTA to the installation position.
Do not hold COBOTTA in any other way (for example, holding it only with one hand/holding only the base part/holding only arm part). This may move the axes unexpectedly and cause malfunctions. Also, COBOTTA may slip from the hands easily. Falling COBOTTA may hit your body and hurt yourself. This is very dangerous.
The center of gravity of COBOTTA Unit in the packing posture is indicated "here (PDF:877KB)". Please refer to it when carrying COBOTTA.

Place COBOTTA in the installation location while aligning with the dowel pins for fixing COBOTTA.
Be careful not to put the dowel pins in the COBOTTA screw holes.

Put the fixing screws through the screw holes and fix COBOTTA with the screws.
Use the following tightening torque to tighten the screws for fixing COBOTTA.
