Turning ON Robot Controller
It allows robot operation from teach pendant and mini-pendant, or automatic robot run by turning on the robot controller.
Turning ON Robot Controller
To operate the robot, it is necessary to turn on the robot controller.
The robot controller controls and supplies all power needed for the operation of robot.
Operation Procedures

Press "-" display side of power switch of the controller shown in the figure below until it clicks.
Power lamp (the leftmost of three pilot lamps) turns on. The other two pilot lamps, "Automatic mode" and "Error", briefly flash immediately after turning on.
Once the controller is powered-ON, do not turn off the controller until the initialization has completed.
Otherwise, data you have created may be damaged.
Completion of the Initialization
You can check the completion of the initialization with the following messages or signals.

Language Settings
The screen to select the appropriate language is displayed when turning on the controller. Select your language and press [OK].

Select your language and press [OK].

Select "Do not display", and press [OK] to not display language selection screen from next time.

A system message appears on the teaching pendant that indicates the controller shutdown for the language setting change. In this state, without pressing [OK], restart the controller.
If you press [OK] in the above state, the controller is automatically shutdown.
After that, you can change the language at the controller restart, however, do not power off the controller during the system shutdown process.
Depending on the controller type, the system shutdown completed state is different.

Engine board is not indicated as "E"
The system shutdown has been completed once the following window appears.
Engine board is indicated as "E"
Once the teaching pendant displays white-and-black noise pattern and emits loud fan noise, the system shutdown has been completed.

Display the basic screen.
If the engine board is expressed as E in the controller type, when you restart the controller after the language setting change, it will take about three minutes to complete the start-up because the system automatically restart three times.
