Maintenance & Inspection Intervals and Purposes
Carry out the maintenance and inspection jobs listed in the table below.
Maintenance and inspection must be carried out by a trained person who possesses the ability to perform these tasks safely.
Before performing maintenance and inspection jobs, read the Safety Precautions, "Precautions while Robot is Running" and "Others(Daily and Periodical Inspections)."

To use your robot safely. Perform inspection jobs every day before starting operations. |
| Quarterly |
To maintain the precision of the robot and prevent failures caused by overheat of the robot controller. Perform inspection jobs every three months. |
| Biennial | To keep the decelerator of robot in good condition by filling grease and to retain the position data stored in the electronic absolute encoder built in the robot unit. Replace backup batteries as specified in every two years. |
| Every five years | To execute overhaul for once every five years. |
