Teaching
Teaching refers to a method of programming for guiding a robot through its motions using the teach pendant. In programming, positions can be specified as constants. However, in order to make the robot accurately learn the relative positional relationship between itself and objective point, it is necessary to move the robot actually on site. Consequently, write positions as variables in programming and assign actual values to those variables by on-site teaching.
When conducting teaching inside the safety fence, wear protective gear (such as a helmet, safety goggles, and safety shoes) and pay attention to safety.
Teaching
Under the normal operation, to conduct teaching, users press arm traverse keys on the teach pendant or mini pendant to move a robot. This method is called "Remote teaching".
On the other hand, for some robots, users can move the robot directly with their hands. This method is called "Direct teaching".
For the remote teaching procedure, refer to"Teaching" of the OPERATION GUIDE.
For details about direct teaching, refer to "Direct Teaching".
