Kinematics Configuration

Kinematics Configuration enables to operate the robot, which is prepared by user, with MC8 series.

Although the normal use of MC8 series allows to control a linear motion robot only, this function enables "Arm-robot", such as SCARA robot, Parallel link robot, etc., to operate by pointing the position of the edge of the robot's arm.

This function is available for only MC8 series. (Ver.2.2.* or higher)

Kinematics configuration of the robot type X, XY, XYZ, XYZT is equipped as standard function of MC8 series. Therefore, this function is available without a license. Existence or non-existence of license does not influence the behavior.

This function enables exclusively the robot which is prepared by user, by pointing the position of the edge of its robot's arm to operating; it is NOT the same capabilities as DENSO robot's. Some capability, such as Repeat positioning accuracy, is according to the configuration of the robot which is prepared by user.

System Configuration

This function requires a robot other than MC8 series to operating. That robot shall be prepared by user.
