EtherNet/IP Communication Setting Process
The following roughly explains the process of EtherNet/IP communication connection setting.

Perform the EtherNet/IP communication connection setting on the robot controller side.

Register the license number in robot controller.

Install an EtherNet/IP Adapter board in the expansion slot on the robot controller.

Set the communication parameters on robot controller.
For details, refer to the "ETHERNET/IP ADAPTER BOARD MANUAL" of DENSO ROBOT USER MANUALS.

Perform the EtherNet/IP communication connection setting on the PLC side.
Start "STUDIO 5000 Rev30" and configure PLC-related parameters (IP address, etc.).

Set the communication parameters for robot controller (IP address, Input size, and Output size).
A "Controller Tag" is automatically created when a communication parameter is set.
Transfer a created project data to a PLC.

Check if the EtherNet/IP communication is performed properly.
Check the communication status of EtherNet/IP.
Check if the data has been sent and received properly.
