When Used for X-Y Table or Driving Servo Motors

This section describes the setting procedures when the MC9 controller is used for X-Y table or driving servo motors.

When Controlling Each of the Servo Motors of Eight Axes Separately

Specifying the following two settings will enable this function.

  1. "Connection of Servo Motors"
  2. "Parameter Setting"

When Controlling the Robot Configured Based on X-Y Table or the Cartesian Coordinate System

Specifying the following five settings will enable this function.

  1. "Connect Servo Motors"
  2. "Parameter Setting"
  3. "Specify Robot Joints"
  4. "Arm Parameter Setting"
  5. "Register an Arm Group"
