Transport
This chapter contains a description of transporting the robot unit.
- Before handling or installing the robot unit, be sure to read SAFETY PRECAUTIONS, "Installation Precautions 1" and this chapter.
- Do not pick up the robot unit by the cables. The robot unit may be broken.
- The Y axis and the S axis which is unscrewed the slide stop bolt move since no brake is equipped. Be careful so that hand or finger does not get caught by an axis or cableveyor.
The way of taking out the robot from the package and the way of transportation differ according to the robot type. Refer to the explanation below before transportation.

Transport Method
- Make sure that everything is ready for installation.
- When the package is opened, the robot is placed on its back. Take out the robot as shown in the photograph about "how to take out the robot". After taking it out, transport it as shown in the photograph about "how to transport the robot".
- Secure a sufficient passage space and make sure that there is no obstacle or hazard on the way.
- Fix the robot on the mount by referring to "Installation
".
