Overview
The robot protective jacket set for food processing is optional equipment that consists of a sanitary-minded jacket ("robot jacket" hereinafter) designed for food factory robots and accessories for putting the robot jacket on the robot.
Just installing the robot protective jacket for food processing on the robot prevents liquid from attaching to the robot unit.
Cleaning and sterilizing the robot jacket before starting the robot also allows hygienic robot operation.
Supported Robot Types
The robot protective jacket set for food processing can be used for the following robots:
- VS-068
- VS-087
However, it cannot be used for the following specifications and type:
Communication flange-A
UL specification
Clean type
Installing the Set on the Robot
The robot protective jacket set for food processing needs to be installed on the robot by the customer. For how to install the set, refer to the corresponding section in this manual.
How to Put the Robot Jacket On
There are the following two methods to put the robot jacket on near the robot installation surface.
Prioritizing the Easiness of Putting On/Taking Off
This method prioritizes the easiness of putting the robot jacket on or taking it off. The mount is not included in the robot protective jacket set for food processing. |
Prioritizing the Protectiveness
This method prioritizes the protectiveness against contaminants near the robot installation surface. To use this method, a dedicated plate needs to be created separately. For details, refer to "Bottom-raising Plate for the Robot". The mount is not included in the robot protective jacket set for food processing. |

The robot specifications (Example: Robot workable space) are different between before and after putting the robot jacket on. Check the following appropriate reference before use:
