Safety Rules for Robot Protective Jacket Set for Food Processing
Be sure to observe all of the following safety precautions for the robot protective jacket for food processing.
- To ensure operator safety, be sure to read the precautions and instructions in "Safety Precautions".
- Be sure to turn off the robot controller before entering the robot workable space for putting the robot jacket on, taking it off, cleaning, or checking for any dirt.
- Be careful when taking the jacket off of the robot because the robot unit surface may be extremely hot right after stopping. Wait for a certain period of time before taking the robot jacket off after the robot stops.
To start working with the robot immediately after stopping, wear thick long gloves to prevent direct contact with the robot.
When moving the robot, if you hold the robot over the jacket to lift up, the jacket may slip, causing the robot to drop.
Be sure to take the robot jacket off before moving the robot to another location.
- Be sure to tighten the robot jacket at the base as well when putting the jacket on the robot to prevent from tumbling over by stepping on the loosed jacket around the robot base.
- If detergent or disinfectant is used to wash or sterilize the robot jacket, be sure to check its "SDS (Safety Data Sheet)" and "Precautions for Use" for appropriate cleaning. Also, be careful not to be burnt when using hot water.
