Installing Procedures for the Robot Jacket, Signal Lines, and Air Pipes
Before transporting or installing the robot, be sure to read "Installation Precautions" in "SAFETY PRECAUTIONS", as well as this section.
Preparing for Installation
Before installing this robot protective jacket for food processing, check "Items Contained in the Robot Jacket Set" and place necessary parts within reach of your hand.
The installing procedures for the robot jacket are described in the order shown in the following table:

| Signal Lines, Guides, and Wires |
Attach the cover and guides to protect the end-effector signal lines and air pipes. Fix the end-effector signal lines and air pipes to the jacket flange through the cable ground. |
| Putting the Jacket On | Put the robot protective jacket for food processing on the robot unit. |
| Tightening near the Robot Base | Use the accompanied band to tighten the jacket near the robot base or install a bottom-raising plate according to the purpose. |
Bottom-raising Plate for the Robot
To prevent dust from entering from the robot base, a bottom-raising plate needs to be installed between the robot and the mount (prepared by the customer) as shown in the figure below.
A bottom-raising plate requires robot mounting bolt holes and a dowel pin hole.
Machine the plate in the correct size according to the following bottom-raising plate drawing and robot jacket fixing plate drawing:
