I/O Options Available to Set by WINCAPSIII

This section describes for the following each item.

Digital Input Terminal

When you click a model type, an individual instruction manual will be displayed.

Model type Name
EL1098 Digital input terminal NPN, 8ch, 10us, IP20
EL1889 Digital input terminal NPN, 16ch, 3ms, IP20
EL1018 Digital input terminal PNP, 8ch, 10us, IP20
EL1809 Digital input terminal PNP, 16ch, 3ms, IP20
  • These are available to equip to the robot controller.
  • Signals of the digital input terminal should be allocated to the range of port numbers from 3072 to 3455 (total 384 points). As a result of connecting multiple digital input terminals to the robot controller, if the total number exceeds 384 points, the available number to use in the robot program in actual is up to 384 points.

Digital Output Terminal

When you click a model type, an individual instruction manual will be displayed.

EL2889 Digital output terminal NPN, 16ch, 0.5A, IP20
EL2008 Digital output terminal PNP, 8ch, 0.5A, IP20
EL2809 Digital output terminal PNP, 16ch, 0.5A, IP20
  • These are available to equip to the robot controller.
  • Signals of the digital output terminal should be allocated to the range of port numbers from 3456 to 3839 (total 384 points). As a result of connecting multiple digital output terminals to the robot controller, if the total number exceeds 384 points, the available number to use in the robot program in actual is up to 384 points.

Digital Input/Output Terminal

When you click a model type, an individual instruction manual will be displayed.

EP2339-0021 Digital input/output terminal PNP, 16ch, 3ms, IP67
  • This is not available to equip to the robot controller.
  • Signals of the digital input/output terminal should be allocated to the range of port numbers from 3840 to 4095 (total 256 points). As a result of connecting multiple digital input/output terminals to the robot controller, if the total number exceeds 256 points, the available number to use in the robot program in actual is up to 256 points.

Field Network Slave Terminal

When you click a model type, an individual instruction manual will be displayed.

EL6631-0010 PROFINET RT device terminal
EL6652-0010 EtherNet/IP slave terminal
EL6711-0010 CC-Link slave terminal
EL6731-0010 PROFIBUS slave terminal
EL6752-0010 DeviceNet slave terminal
EL6695 EtherCAT bridge terminal
  • These are available to equip to the robot controller.
  • Field network slave terminal can be used only one of the above terminals. Multiple field network slave terminals cannot be used.

Serial Communication Terminal

When you click a model type, an individual instruction manual will be displayed.

EL6002 RS232C 2ch terminal
EL6022 RS422/RS485 2ch terminal
  • These are available to equip to the robot controller.
  • Serial communication terminal cannot use the multiple same models. For example, one EL6002 and one EL6022 can be used for each, but two EL6002 cannot be used.

Junction

When you click a model type, an individual instruction manual will be displayed.

CU1124 EtherCAT junction 4port
CU1128 EtherCAT junction 8port
  • These are not available to equip to the robot controller.
  • There is the restriction of devices that can be used depending on the junction connection position. For details, refer to "Restriction when Using a Junction".

Others

When you click a model type, an individual instruction manual will be displayed.

EK1100 EtherCAT coupler terminal

This is available to equip to the robot controller.
