Connecting to the RC8 Series Robot Controller
MC9 Series can be connected to the RC8 series controller through EtherCAT, allowing you to operate the RC8 series compatible robot by using MC9's functions.
To use this feature, the RC8 series controller software version must be 2.16.* or higher.
The RC8A controller, which is equipped with Safety Motion, cannot be connected to MC9 Series.
To connect MC9 Series to the RC8 series controller, you need to configure both MC9 Series and the RC8 series controller and register a license for both of them.
