Status Area

This section describes the usage of the status area (16 bits, output) and of status area odd parity (output).

Function

Signals output the result of I/O command processing to the external device.

Usage

Signals are used to execute an I/O command and obtain the result of the PLC.

ON Conditions

  1. When processing of the I/O given is completed, the status corresponding to the command will be set.
  2. "ON" represents the bit value = 1. "OFF" represents the bit value = 0.
  3. If a command outputs status area, it outputs 1 or 0 to parity bit so that the total of 1s existing in the status area and status area parity will be odd.

OFF Conditions

  1. Signal will be turned OFF when the strobe signal is turned OFF.
  2. If the strobe signal is turned OFF, before command processing is completed, the status signal will be output and then turned OFF within 100 ms.
