Safety-related Control System

COBOTTA has the following safety-related control systems:

Emergency stop function

Functions to stop COBOTTA forcibly

Protective stop function

Functions to stop COBOTTA forcibly (able to resume the operation from the suspended point)

Speed limit function

Functions to monitor the speed of COBOTTA and stop COBOTTA when it exceeds the speed limit

Torque limit function

Functions to monitor the torque of COBOTTA and stop COBOTTA when it exceeds the torque limit

Axis limit function

Functions to monitor the axis of COBOTTA and stop COBOTTA when it exceeds the angle limit

You can change the limit values only for the "Speed limit function" and "Axis limit function" among the safety-related control systems.

To change the values, use COBOTTA parameter tool. Refer to "COBOTTA Parameter Tool Guide" for COBOTTA parameter tool.
