MC8 Series (Motion Controller)

Overview

MC8 series is a controller whose all joints can control extended-joint motors. For details about extended-joint, refer to "Extended-Joint Function". This function is available from Ver.1.5.* or later.

You cannot connect MC8 series with a standard DENSO robot.

MC8 series can control up to 8 joints. Before shipping, driver boards for extended-joint are mounted on MC8's slots as much as the number of extended-joint motors being used.

To control each joint, use extended-joint operation dedicated commands written in PacScript or use command options.
Just like the extended-joints, MC8 series can not only move multiple joints together as a group but also move each joint individually.
However, a command that can be used only when the mechanism is decided (such as CP motion) are not available.

Kinematics Configuration

This function enables to operate the robot, which is prepared by user, with MC8 series.
