When you purchase a COBOTTA, read the following description and select proper products.

Selecting COBOTTA Unit Specifications

Select proper option for each of the following three categories.

• OS type

  Standard OS version	Our original system software is installed. To use software like TP App, Cobotta World and WINCAPSIII to edit COBOTTA operation and robot programs, this is the right choice.
  OSS version	OS or system software is not installed. It must be installed by customer. To install ROS (Robot Operating System) to develop original robot applications, this is the right choice.

• Mini I/O circuit type

  NPN	The I/O circuit of Mini I/O has the following configuration. Electric current flows out of the input signal. Electric current flows into the output signal.
  PNP	The I/O circuit of Mini I/O has the following configuration. Electric current flows into the input signal. Electric current flows out of the output signal.

  Make a choice depending on the circuit of external devices (PLC, etc.) connected to COBOTTA.

• Presence of the Electric Gripper for COBOTTA (Optional)

  No	The electric gripper for COBOTTA will not be installed at the factory before shipment.
  Yes	The electric gripper for COBOTTA will be installed at the factory before shipment.

Depending on the combination of three categories described above, part numbers are assigned as follows.

Select the following items as required.

In any case, make sure to select an AC cable.

• AC cable

  Select the AC cable depending on the country where COBOTTA is used.

• Mini I/O cable

  Used to connect the Mini I/O connector of COBOTTA to external devices (PLC, etc).

• Electric vacuum generator

  Select the following items when using an electric vacuum generator. 
  If a built-in option (installed in robot before shipment) is selected, an electric vacuum generator will be mounted in a COBOTTA unit before shipment. 
  You can purchase an electric vacuum generator as a single component. However, you cannot install an electric vacuum generator by yourself. If you purchase this option as a single component, please contact our service representative.

• Camera built-in set for COBOTTA

  Select this to use the AF camera (N10-W02).

  If this option is selected, the AF camera (N10-W02) and COBOTTA end-effector Ethernet cable will be installed at the factory before shipment.

  When using the AF camera (N10-W02), a customer-prepared Hub or PoE injector with the PoE power feeding function is required. Please refer to "Items Prepared by Customer" described below.

  Select this to use the field network interface module.
  You can purchase a field network interface module as a single component.

Items Prepared by Customer

This section describes non-DENSO WAVE products that must be prepared by customer.

Read the following descriptions and prepare any device suitable for the purpose of use.

• Preparing a PC or tablet

  Software like TP App, Cobotta World or WINCAPSIII is used to edit COBOTTA operation or robot programs.

  When using the OSS version of product, applications prepared by customer is used to operate COBOTTA or edit programs.

  To use the software, it is installed on a PC or tablet.

  Therefore, customers must prepare the PC or tablet.

  For software, refer to the description in "Programming Software". Please prepare a PC or tablet.

  For how to connect to the PC or tablet, refer to the description in "Items Prepared by Customer" in "System Configuration Diagram". Please also prepare products required for connection (USB or Ethernet cables, etc).

• When using the AF camera (N10-W02)

  A Hub or PoE injector with the PoE power feeding function is required to feed the AF camera (N10-W02) with power.

  For how to connect the AF camera (N10-W02), refer to the description in "Connection between Camera and COBOTTA". Please prepare required products.

• When using external devices

  For COBOTTA communication I/F (I/O, Ethernet, etc.) specifications, refer to the description in "Communication with an External Device (I/F)" in "Specifications" For the internal circuit of Mini I/O connector and Mini I/O cables, refer to the description in "I/O (Mini I/O)". Please prepare required products.

• When using OSS version

  To display the COBOTTA development screen, VGA cables and the external display are required in addition to optional VGA junction cables (refer to "VGA Junction Cable" for how to connect).
