I/O (Mini I/O)
There are two connection circuits to a Mini I/O connector: one for system function signals and user signals and another for safety signals.
To identify which signal line of the Mini I/O cable is connected to which terminal of the Mini I/O connector, check the colors of signal lines.
This section divides the information on I/O into "Connection circuits for system function signals and user signals," "Connection circuits for safety signals," and "Wiring of Mini I/O cable" and describes the outlines and references for them (The references describe more detailed information).

Outline |
---|---|
Connection circuits for system function signals and user signals | The system function signals and user signals (The table in "I/O Allocation" shows these signals withmark ormark) need a power supply for signals. The power supply for signals is used to apply voltages to the signals. However, different connection circuits are used depending on the polarity. This reference describes detailed explanation of the above information. |
Connection circuit for safety signals | The safety signals (The table in "I/O Allocation" shows these signals withmark) do not need a power supply for signals basically (Some signals need a power supply). The dummy connector (I/O), an accessory, is a connector in which part of the safety signals are connected. This reference describes detailed explanation of the above information. |
Wiring of Mini I/O cable | This reference describes the correspondence between the colors of signal lines of the Mini I/O cable and the terminal numbers of the Mini I/O connector. |
