Pendantless State
If the teach pendant or mini-pendant is disconnected from the robot controller after teaching, be sure to set the pendantless connector to the PENDANT connector instead. In this pendantless state, the robot can be run automatically by a program in the robot controller or by controlling I/O signals from external equipment.
Note on Pendantless State
In the pendantless state, the robot mode cannot be Manual or Teach check due to the lack of the teach pendant and mini-pendant.
A program cannot run while the Enable Auto input is open-circuited.
Determine whether to use the robot controller in a pendantless state in consideration of the following items:
- The robot controller cannot be started while the Enable Auto input is open-circuited.
- An emergency stop of the system will occur if the Enable Auto input is short-circuited and the Auto mode output is AND state.
