Electric Gripper for COBOTTA

The fingers of the electric gripper for COBOTTA can be replaced with user-provided original fingers, from the fingers which are attached at the time of factory shipment ("standard fingers" hereafter).

In all cases, regardless of which fingers to be used, the mass, size, and gripping point of a workpiece, which is gripped by the electric gripper for COBOTTA, should not exceed the allowable range.

For the mass, size, and gripping point of a workpiece, refer to the following references and use an adequate workpiece.

How to Detach a Finger

Detach the standard fingers in the following steps.

Remove the finger cover to the direction of arrow as indicated in the figure below. At that time, be careful not to apply excessive stress to the attachment structure of the finger.

Hold the finger (metal part) securely with hands and remove the hexagonal socket-head bolt. At that time, hold the finger securely so that excessive stress is not applied on the driving part of the finger.

How to Attach a Finger

Attach a finger by using the screw hole and the dowel pin provided at the driving part of the finger.

When tightening the screw, try not to apply excessive stress on the driving part of the finger. Fix the finger securely.

When using original fingers, prepare the fixing screws having the following specifications. Tighten them with the following tightening torque.

Design the shape of the finger according to dimensions shown in the drawings below.
