Dead Battery Warning (Output)
Function
The signal indicates whether the voltage of the encoder backup battery has decreased.
Usage
The signal allows you to know the battery replacement timing, which is the time when the battery voltage has decreased.
ON Condition / OFF Condition / Timing Chart
The timing of battery voltage monitoring differs between robot models, which also have different ON and OFF conditions and timing charts.
VM Series, VS Series, VS-6556/6577 Series, HM Series, HS Series, XR Series, and XR2
- Monitoring timing
- The function monitors the voltage of the encoder backup battery when the robot controller turns on.
- ON condition
- The signal will turn on if you turn on the robot controller with its encoder backup battery voltage decreased.
- OFF condition
- The signal will remain off if you turn on the robot controller with its encoder backup battery voltage not decreased.
- Timing chart
HSA1 Series, HSR Series, and VP Series
- Monitoring timing
- The function keeps monitoring the voltage of the encoder backup battery while the robot controller is on.
- ON condition
- The signal will turn on if the encoder backup battery voltage decreases while the robot controller is on.
- OFF condition
- The signal will remain off if the encoder backup battery voltage does not decrease while the robot controller is on.
